TATTOO REWORKING
No matter who you choose to tattoo you, please do your research on the artist and make sure they have an extensive portfolio and great reputation.
This client came to me to fix a “botched” tattoo job she had recently received from a different tattooer. The design looked nothing like what she had requested, and she was embarrassed to be walking around with it on her body.
The “botched” tattoo you see below was what the design looked like before the rework. Scroll down and see the finished tattoo - she was extremely happy with the result!
Before REWORK:
The previous artist who tattooed this design went too deep in the skin, causing many lines to blowout (expand into pools of ink under the skin) or fall-out where the trauma caused the ink to be rejected.
After REWORK:
I reconstructed the tattoo using the original as a stencil. It was relined and shaded to correct ink fall-out and cover blowouts. Color was then added to give the design a finished, healthy look.
